Our approach

We take a Best Practice approach to Corporate Reporting, using recognised and established principles and innovative thinking to help you articulate your strategy and create Reporting which best conveys your investment case.

From the outset, we consider the content of your Reporting. We'll analyse your RNS announcements and your market, and arrange 'think tank' sessions with your team before presenting detailed recommendations with objective Best Practice strategies to help ensure successful engagement with your audiences. It's one of the many reasons clients choose us for their inaugural Reporting post-IPO.

We’ve been on the panel of “The Future of Corporate Reporting” at Company Secretarial events and work on over 80 Annual Reports a year, helping clients including FTSE, AIM-listed, European and global companies.

Our strength lies in our flexibility. Major overnight or last-minute changes? No problem, thanks to our unrivalled in-house typesetting capacity. Changing mailing dates following late sign-off? Equally no problem, thanks to our in-house production and mailing. New design direction? Our panel of highly-experienced designers is here to help, whenever you need us.

We understand that not all companies are the same, so we'll spend time ensuring that your Report reflects your reality, whether it's a modest black & white Report or full colour, graphically-rich, print and digital suite of Reports.

We'll keep you up to speed on changing regulations and requirements too, suggesting practical and innovative solutions. What's more, we can help you maintain ESEF Compliance, the European Single Electronic File regulations which require XBRL tagging, XHTML output and filing with the National Storage Mechanism.

The complete Corporate and Sustainability Reporting service - around the clock.

  • Best Practice means your annual report clearly and authentically communicates your strategy, performance, and governance in a way that engages investors and other stakeholders. We reference FRC Corporate Reporting Lab guidance, investor feedback, peer benchmarking, and regulatory requirements (ESEF, corporate governance codes, etc.) as well as Thomson Reuters, Deloitte and other sources of Best Practice review. It's not one-size-fits-all; Best Practice for a mining company looks different to a fintech’s Best Practice.
  • Yes. We can write or rewrite sections of your report. We also copy-edit for tone and consistency. For more in-depth copywriting (full report rewrite), we work with specialist copywriters. Most clients provide draft content; we refine and advise.
  • Most often: auditors sign-off late (happens in ~30% of projects), or the board decides a section needs rewording. We can handle changes up to the very last minute because we control typesetting, production and mailing in-house. External agencies often can't because they outsource to freelancers who've moved on to other projects.
  • FRC Corporate Reporting Lab guidance, UK Corporate Governance Code updates, ESEF/iXBRL requirements, FCA Listing Rules, Company Law Act 2006, Capital Requirements Directive (CRD), TCFD climate disclosures, and emerging sustainability standards (IFRS S1/S2). We stay updated so you don't have to.
  • We can advise on essentials: What story are you telling? Who are your investors? What matters most to them? You don't need a six-person IR team to do reporting well. Sometimes 3-4 core decisions (narrative focus, data hierarchy, design direction) make all the difference.
  • Absolutely. We've worked with dozens of in-house teams and external agencies. You handle creative direction; we handle typesetting, production, ESEF conversion, and mailing. Many clients prefer this split because it separates roles and ensures tight deadlines are met.
