  • ESG stands for Environmental, Social, Governance and refers to specific data points investors care about. Sustainability reporting is broader - it covers environmental impact, social responsibility, governance, and business resilience. Many companies now produce an integrated report covering both ESG metrics and sustainability narrative.
  • We see the need for separate reports increasing across our client base. Some companies integrate ESG into their annual report. Others produce stand-alone sustainability reports. It depends on the nature of your industry or its complexity (if you have complex environmental data, a stand-alone report makes sense), investor expectations (some investors want a dedicated document), and regulatory requirements (if IFRS S1/S2 or TCFD applies, you may need separate disclosures).
  • IFRS S1 (General Requirements) and IFRS S2 (Climate-related Disclosures) are new global sustainability reporting standards. They're becoming mandatory in many markets. We advise on mapping your ESG data to these standards and structuring disclosures accessibly.
  • We can help you benchmark against peers, review investor feedback, and assess materiality (what ESG issues matter most to your business and investors). This often reveals that companies are over-reporting low-materiality issues and under-reporting what investors actually care about.
  • We focus on reporting and communication. For ESG strategy (setting targets, improving performance), you'd typically work with a sustainability consultant. But we work with many sustainability advisors and can recommend some, and of course integrate their recommendations into your reporting design.
  • A process of identifying which ESG issues matter most to your stakeholders and your business. High-materiality issues get priority in your sustainability report. Low-materiality issues might get a brief mention or a footnote. We advise on materiality based on peer analysis and investor feedback.
  • Yes. That's a core skill. We use infographics, data visualisation, accessible tone, and clear hierarchy to make complex sustainability data understandable to non-specialists. We also balance comprehensiveness with accessibility - everything regulators need to see, but presented so investors can actually engage with it.
  • We have design approaches that work well for data-heavy sustainability content. Rather than rigid templates, we build custom designs based on your data and brand. But we do reuse structural approaches that have proven effective.
  • Science-based targets, climate scenario analysis, Scope 3 emissions disclosures, biodiversity reporting, and social impact metrics. Reporting is getting more quantitative and forward-looking. We stay updated and advise on how to present these emerging metrics effectively.
