Schroders

Schroder REIT seeks to improve the sustainability performance of buildings to generate higher income and capital growth. Its first-of-its-kind “brown-to-green” investment strategy aims to meet the growing demand for more sustainable buildings, by transforming the environmental performance of the portfolio’s assets over time. This gives shareholders the potential to capture the rental and valuation premium that buildings with genuine green credentials can command and may provide significant opportunities for consistent income and capital growth.

Schroders

Schroder REIT’s annual report uses a structured, investor-focused layout designed to present complex property and financial information in a clear and logical sequence. The document follows a well-defined hierarchy, moving from strategic overview and market context through to portfolio performance, asset management activity, and detailed financial statements.

Utilising CtrlPrint software, B&C helped teams across Schroders compile detailed text, tidying up multiple edits and ensuring text flowed evenly and aesthetically into a new design provided by one of B&C’s panel of designers.

The layout also integrates visual elements to break up dense text and support decision-making. Property photography, maps, and portfolio breakdowns provide geographic and sector context, while charts and summary panels highlight key metrics such as net asset value, total return, occupancy levels, and income performance. Executive summaries and key highlights appear early in major sections, allowing stakeholders to grasp performance at a glance before moving into more detailed analysis. Overall, the layout balances detailed disclosure with accessibility, reflecting the needs of institutional and retail investors seeking both clarity and depth.
